Seattle, WA

September 6 - 10, 2017

So, what can I say about Seattle?

I will admit, I was skeptical about coming here, due to the fact I don't like the city no matter where I am. I'm used to walking outside in the morning butt naked because there's nobody around for miles. I don't like being in traffic, or living around/underneath/on top of anyone. Pavement and litter scattered everywhere, homeless people living in tents on the street corners, it makes me sad and I can only do but so much as one person.

*vulgar content below*

I know you want to hear so much about how I want to help everyone in the city, but for now, I'll just speak about my trip.

Seattle was not bad at all! I loved the little shops and everyone there was, well, generally nice.

(9/6)

I went with a boyfriend at the time, (he wanted me to go to a conference with him, and I love to travel, so why not?), and as soon as we arrived in town, we got a Lyft to drive us to this "Paleo" Resturaunt he looked up earlier back home.

I should probably mention, this guy has himself on a strict diet. Paleo foods no matter what. He did not touch a single thing made by man, all natural foods and a lot of fish.

So, it's safe to say I could not find anything "good" on the menu. However, how could you go wrong with Deviled Eggs? I tried those, and boy was I slapped with some truth. Not everything is always good.

After that, of COURSE we went to check out a marijuana dispensary. I just wanted a picture inside of a store, and to see the difference in pricing between illegal and legal weed. Here's what I learned from that:

ILLEGAL: 1 Gram = $20

LEGAL: 1 Gram + a mini glass bowl + a lighter = $20

So, if you are a weed smoker, I suggest you move to Seattle for sure!

ALSO.....weed store bouncers are super chill, and love taking pictures!

(9/7)

After all of the excitement of being somewhere new, we finally had to get ready to go to this conference I was so graciously invited to attend.

Ancestral Health Symposium or AHS17, was the name of the conference, and I won't lie, I learned a lot! If you're into the Paleo lifestyle and love eating and living healthy I highly recommend it! However, I was not, and I still attended all the classes I could just to learn little tid-bits here and there about the human body and how it works.

(9/8)

ANYWAY after an entire day if educational stuff, we finally went to do some sight-seeing!

Stop number one was the famous "Gum Wall"!

I saw this on Facebook not too long before I came here, however I didn't look up where it was. We just happened to stumble upon it while walking around the alleys!

These pictures really don't express how much gum is actually on those walls! It's a must see if you stumble upon it like I did! Kind of gross though, and there were sooooo many people.

I found this cute pig statue too!

That's the now ex-boyfriend. If you're reading this my man, I hope you're doing well, and healthy as ever! Hopefully there are no hard feelings. It was a fun trip!

This one was a restaurant called "The Virginia Inn". That's my home state so yes I took a picture.

Of COURSE I had to climb into some art!

We went to a cheese makery, (idk, people who make cheese), and we watched this person stir it up and it was so mesmerizing!!

(9/9)

If you don't see the Space Needle when you go to Seattle, what did you even go for?

Now, I'm going to have to end the story here, as the rest of my time in Seattle was crazy fun, and worth keeping to myself. If you see me one day, ask me to tell you the Seattle story and I just might!

Goodbye Seattle, I would love to come again and visit, but I think I'll stick to the sticks!

I had fun while it lasted!
